A creative space for innovation to thrive
The NW Innovation Lab or “TheLab” is a dynamic environment where entrepreneurs, inventors and innovators access resources and support that are essential for transforming ideas into successful businesses.
TheLab has what you need to get your ideas moving forward, within its co-working space, private offices, community collaboration space, Design Thinking workshop, mini makerspace and more.
TheLab is more than just a desk – you will find mentorship and business advising, as well as a myriad of programs and events to help improve your entrepreneurial skills at every level.
TheLab helps foster innovation by bringing you together with other entrepreneurs, subject matter experts, mentors and business advisors in building a community that supports entrepreneurship at all levels.
TheLab is open and ready for entrepreneurs.
Beginning January 7 we will be open Monday -Friday 11:30am-7pm
With its regional network, TheLab offers great opportunities to network with fellow innovators who use new technologies as well as experts in industries such as clean tech, manufacturing, healthcare, and agriculture.
Community and Collaboration
Working side-by-side, whether in-person or across the region, innovative minds work together and challenge each other, sharing different perspectives to create bigger and better solutions to today’s challenges.
Through programs across the region and skilled mentorship, entrepreneurs will have access to programs that help them move their business ideas ahead further, faster.
The NW Innovation Resource Center (NWIRC) has been assisting entrepreneurs and inventors in NW Washington for nearly a decade by bringing the resources entrepreneurs need to succeed to the communities where they live. TheLab is the newest addition to our expanding set of resources that will help to build a stronger entrepreneurial community across the region.
Events at TheLab are more than just talking heads, we have developed a wide range of programs and events that will help any lab community member advance their entrepreneurial skills, connect with subject matter experts and network with others who can help them work through the challenges every entrepreneur faces. Space is usually limited with these events, so register early to secure your spot.
